God gave us another beautiful day in northwest Arkansas yesterday (68 degrees and little or no wind in the morning). The fish were still in a cooperative mood in 6 to 9 foot of water. Red and chartreus and orange and chartreus were the best colors. We left them stilling biting around noon with our limits. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better around 4 pm our son brought our grandchildren over to spend the night. Oh did I mention that we had a little fish fry? (Crappie, butterfly shrimp, hushpuppies, fries, rice and red beans and hot coleslaw.
