I started off fishing Belco with no luck at all. Not even seeing any fish on my graph! So went to buzzard beach and the deep hole was absolutely littered with fish! I couldnt get a bite. Finally after a very long time finally caught one white bass. Fished for 7 plus hours. It was a low quality trip, but I did however learn a TON!!! Also wanna throw this out there, i have fished buzzard beach several times now and really have given it a good shot. I have yet to see a crappie outa there. Not saying they are not in there but sure would think trolling 10 rods for an added up of 12-20 hours, surely woulda caught at least one. I have fished all over it now. And have had other people fishing it too trolling 8 poles and they say the same as I. Strange. Here is a pik of my graph of the deep hole out front of the boat ramp.

About 6 years ago, I found a spot like that while fishing minners on Greeson. I had never seen "tails" on the arches before; similar to your pics. They could not hook themselves while stealing my bait. I went back the next morning with crickets and loaded the box full of 3/4 lbs bream. DP

Where is Buzzard Beach and Belco?
When Slow Trolling, the fish look like a straight line on the sonar. With the arches I see, you were moving on pretty good. I'd say about 4mph.
I hardly ever see crappie as that big of an arch on 2D sonar.

Asian Carp and gar on your graph! I have fished there quit a bit and have managed to catch some nice crappie but haven't had much luck just west of the boat landing. There is some 25' to 35' trenches out there made by dirt pans when they were building the hydro plant. The graph is always loaded with fish in that area no matter what time of year you fish it. We have had more luck on the south side of the lake but still have to battle the darn gar later in the spring and summer. We have pretty much stopped fishing there. When we head south we usually just keep driving and cross the Big Bridge! Lol!
Plan to head a little deeper south to Poverty Point, D'Arbonne and Caney this spring. Tired of fighting gar and Asian carp in our area.
Belco is over the pendleton bridge and get on the flood levee and head east a ways. Buzzard is beach is montgomery point near dam 2
