Awesome Slade, I bet you won't forget what you learned about crappie fishing today. That's how you do it man keep at them until you hit right then repeat that process until they move somewhere else and find what they want then. But never forget what you learned today, time of year, water conditions, weather patterns, where they were located relative to contours, structure, ect. Make notes so you won't forget. Crappie are pretty consistent in their behavior at certian times of the year and similar conditions. In other words they'll be there again sometime next year and the year after that ect. Your a pro in the making for sure. But as CP says it's a long hard road. Good job.
Thanx Bobby!!! Im pumped each time I pull one in! I have been for years taking large calendars and writing a couple important things I do each day. Whether its hunting, fishing, or work. It doesn't take much time and really fun to see, like you stated above, when the conditions are the same most of the time the crappie are too! At the end of each year, put the old calendar on the shelf and start a new one. So today is January 28. I can look at what I did last year and see what I did on January 28 last year and several years before that even. Hopefully someone will write a book about me one day, It wouldnt be hard, cuz I will have done most of the work for them lmbo. But.... im not that special! lmbo
GREAT catch ! My calendar and history not working out so good this year !!!
Nice haul budro.
My calendar is starting out alot earlier this year, but I have matched the weather patterns and water temps to when I started catching in the previous years. And its alot warmer this year earlier than the last few. Scenarios were the same, and the fish bit well.
Did the info help you ???
Most certainly did!
Nice catch that will make a good fish fry - congratulations.
Good catch!
