    Default The crappie bite

Was slow for us today... But it sure was a beautiful day and enjoyed the break from work. Hammerhead and I made a quick trip to Horseshoe this afternoon.

This sucker sure made my Browning 4'9" ultralite holla!

We caught one out there last year. Fried it up with the crappie. Cut the bone out and it still tasted horrible. I heard you could marinate hybrid filets in picante sauce and it makes them taste just like crappie?

Make sure you get all the dark meat off the fillets, blacken or grill and enjoy. Doesn't take much red to ruin taste!
