    Default Lake Hamilton

It's been many years since Ive been to Hot Springs, but have not ever been in the middle of winter. I have a question....is Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, "fishable" in Feb? I guess my main question is, do they draw it down where it is hard to launch a boat? Gotta come for a weekend in late Feb and want to bring my boat and catch a day of fishing if I can.

contact Darryl Morrison. He is a guide but can advise you wisely on the places to go.

Don't know, BUT there's a fish hatchery there that's really close to a big launch ramp. You could check with them and I'll bet they could answer your question. Andrew Hulsey Fish Hatchery is the name that you could look up on Google and get a phone number. Hope that helps. GTT

The lake is at its 3' drawdown for the year but you can still launch and fish.

    Default Lake Hamilton

We go there every year for the Xpress dealer meeting, and when we stayed at the Clarion on Hamilton, I used to see crappie fishing guides launching there. At that time of year (August), they were pulling cranks for em. I talked to one of the guides at the dock for quite awhile one day, and he said they were doing pretty good on em. He showed me some spring places on his graph, but I've never fished there before. I should have taken him up on his offer to take me with them, but I had other business obligations at the time. I missed a free trip.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
