Fished Overcup for about 6 hours yesterday. Tried brush piles in 20-22' water, tried brush in creek channels in 10' water, fished the grass edges of the spillway pond. This was all brush piles we put in last year. Even though I didn't have any luck I felt like I accomplished something by finding them all and checking them out good. I can catch them there pretty good in the spring but I haven't found them in the winter yet. Just a matter of time!!!

Kinda thought it might just be a bad day and not biting til I saw the haul crappie ninja made at the pool. I didn't try trimming the jig but I will next time!
Need to barrow my Dog? Highly trained to smell out crappie.

The bite was slow for myself yesterday. Stick with it and it will pay off.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the report. Were you seeing any shad or crappie on your sonar? I fished off of the south pier a week ago and we caught a bunch of dinks.

I saw a few clouds of shad here and there and a few fish I think were crappie but my old sonar does not show fish clearly. There was a man and woman on the pier on the north end catching a few small ones when I put in also.
Have you ever tried the night winter bite there? I've heard good things, never tried though.
