Had a great day on Lake Conway today in the rain. Just a slow steady rain and not one lightning bolt all day. I decided to stay and fish on. For a time it was just me and Dano then just me. I boated 33 fish today and had a limit by 1 PM kept fishing and culled afew. Every fish came off brush and they were deep up in it. I know there is at least two slobber knockers swimming around out there with my jig in their nose as they broke me off. It was a strange feeling looking across the lake and not seeing another boat. I can't stop making them bite the 1000C. Water Temp 57 degrees. They only get bigger from here on out. Tight Lines.
