We have learned that Adam's drug abuse were actually masking mental problems. He was basically self medicating. I don't know for sure where we can turn for help yet; he is an adult and that makes it difficult for me to direct his recovery. I am battleing legal issues now trying to be his guardian. The system wants to protect his civil rights so he can get back to the drugs that were killing him. Ain't that some BS????

Hope you can straighten things out. I can feel for you,my nephew is a doper too. I know of alot of young lives being wasted on drugs. I try to talk about these issues to my teenager and pray he steers clear of the pitfalls of drug use.
