Default Louisiana "not so" shallow water fishing trip

After reading l_tedford post last weekend I couldn't wait for my time down there. The boss man took all use guys to CoCo Marina for the weekend. Just outside of Houma LA Yea he's a good guy. We caught some big fish fast. The Cobia was the main fish we were after it seemed. After that limit we went to the red fish.

Those are nice. I bet that was a blast.

I've heard the cobia called the captains fish because that's what the boat captains like to fish for. Did ya'll sight fish those?

Man, y'all caught a wheelbarrow load of fish (literally). That is some serious fish flesh there. Looks like that was fun!

I have a picture on the wall of me and a 27 pound red caught while at CoCo. They have a nice operation. Also the world record red was caught out of their as well by a man from Jackson ms. Think it's like 47 pounds. Highly recommend.
