Hey Ceb, I didn't do very good today, just caught one keeper and 3 or 4 throwbacks. Nobody was catching many and most were small. One man told me that the lake turned over sometime Sunday because it was muddy Monday, it cleared some yesterday and was almost back to normal today. I don't know if that was the problem or not. The surface temp was 43 this morning and 46 by the time I left.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

    Hey:

Maybe you guys need to slip over here to DeGray or Greeson until things pick up down there. I'll be glad to send y'all some waypoints or mark some spots for you if I'm on the water when y'all are. Right now I'm not booked until next Tuesday but we'lll be "doing the boo and yanking up a few" between now and then.

Sunday, I am planning on hitting either Degray (if I am in Fordyce) or will hit Lake Columbia down in Magnolia (if I am staying in Eldorado). Got on em good last year around Christmas at Columbia. I will also be off work starting Dec 20th and will not go back until Jan 2. Ahhhhhhhhhh SLAB HUNTIN TIME FOR THE BOBBERWATCHER!!!

LA - what I'd like to know is, "Was Willie fishing and was he catching them?" I've really enjoyed the posts and discussion about him, how he fishes, the techniques he uses, and the fact that so many seem to be trying to emulate what he does, but with little luck. It's interesting and reads like a serial novel. Can't wait for the next installment.

No, he only fishes the weekends, he works and goes to school during the week.

Hmmmm...I don't believe that I've ever run into a lake turnover situation. About the only thing that I do know is that they will go deeper because more O2 down deep. However, I was under the impression that lakes as shallow as CC didn't turnover. Also, if it did turnover, how would that affect the hydrilla?
