We built four more bucket/bamboo condos on Greeson today and fished a couple hours. Kept 13 and Jim caught a white crappie that was 16.5-inches and weighed 2-pounds, 1-ounce. He caught more than me today too but hardly rubbed it in at all!

We had minnows out under slip-floats but we caught more on jigs than we did on minnows. They weren't thumping it real well but enough to let you know they were ready for a boat ride.

We heard there are some smallmouth bass and stripers being caught up in the river so I think we are going to check that out in the morning before we "do the boo". Should be some walleye up that way pretty soon too so maybe we'll find something worth eating while we are up there.

Wow, that's some nice crappie. It is really some great fishing weather, can't believe I'm out of vacation days. Must be poor planning. Hope y'all have another good day tomorrow.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Looking good, Jerry. Those sure are some healthy fish coming out of Greeson. DeGray and Hamilton have been producing loads of fish for y'all, but I'm glad to know that Greeson is still dear to you and Darryl's hearts. I believe that I like Greeson even more than DeGray. Keep on showin' us how y'all are doing.
