Nimrod (brushpiles/gps and D-10) and the (ozark jig poles/Crappie/max poles)(these are the Gloomis rod's of crappie fishing world) has made my crappie world a lot eaiser!! They(game and fish) have located the brushpiles out on the first drops!! Have sign's posted on trees on the bank!! Thanks again D-10 We are reaping the rewards of D-10 hard work!! Just find a brushpile on greers from the upper river area's all the way to the Greers ferry Dam area!! pitch your jig to the brush reel in real slow you will feel the crappie thump the jig!! 3/32-1/8 oz arkie double cross jighead and a arkie tube (pearl) or grub(pearl) will work!! Stay far enough away from the brush to keep from spooking fish 2-4 lb test line!! Most day's we are the only boat doing this method!!(the local crappie legend's) says this method won't work on greer's!! If you hang up or lose a fish move to the next brush pile!!Don't let the clear water scare you off!! Arkie use to make my bassfishing world a lot eaiser and now the crappie fishing world!! They(arkie)do something to their plastic that makes it a lot softer than other's and the fish seem to like their tubes and grub's!!Quote:
