Nice day fishing

Had the opportunity to fish this weekend and found me a new friend. He came along for a good ride but wasn't much luck.

Found the fish biting well and had a lot of fun. Caught some really nice fish that had some good length to them

Had me a visitor (butterfly) that hung around my boat for a couple hrs yesterday as well. I would forget about it and turn around and he was still there. Had 10 keepers so he can come back to hang out anytime!! Nice pic.

Nice job but where is the tailgate pic? Guess it was catch and release.

Man a tailgate of them guys would hurt a fellow. I don't like to handle em. Usually grab the bill with one set pliers and retrieve hook with another set while leaving it in the water so they don't break my line. Although it wouldn't give be bad idea as the haters wouldn't be upset over a tailgate pix of them critters lol.

I understand. We use to have a tournament called GAR (great annual rope off) for those things. They love frayed rope casted out to their living quarters.
