Good day of fishing on Greers Ferry with creekslick

Hello all,

Just wanted to post about a great fishing trip I had with Wayne or creekslick as he is known here.

Late on getting this done mostly because I ended up in the hospital with a seriously infection in my foot. That'll teach me to clean up the shop of all metal when I'm finished. Never knew a foot could get that big and a very ugly red. Anyway they cut it open and pulled out the metal and with super antibiotics I'm beginning to get around now. I do not like being in a hospital!!!

Anyway Wayne is a great guide. I wanted to know how to catch crappie on Greers Ferry and I now feel like I can.

We met at 6 in the morning and he had everything ready for a morning of fishing. Very nice and very confortable boat with all the features you could need to run down crappie. We hadn't had the rods in very long and we had a bite. I have learned a bunch on how to setup and troll for crappie. I also learned about where to look for fish and where to troll to get them. I would have had no idea that this technique would produce fish, in particular crappie. So now I not only have learned a great deal about fishing for crappie I now had a place I could return to in the future. Wayne also took the time to show me other areas where he had caught fish before as well as what structure would produce. All this for a small sum. What more could a new guy to the area and crappie fishing want. I can't wait to get back after them again.

Then we had a great fish fry a couple of days later. Just as good as walleye all day long!

So that's all I'm gonna say and I'm stickin to it.

No kidding Wayne is a fine fellow to spend time with on the lake.

I highly recommend him. You could do no better when your needing a guide on Greers Ferry Lake.
