Cold East Winds?? does it matter?
This one is for the guides & pro's (Jerry,Darryl or Jason...etc.);
I didn't go fish today, because of the east wind & cold. I know that crappie like it cold, but do any of you guys ever notice a drop in action because of a hard east or northeast wind? A hard wind sure makes it difficult to navigate, but the "wind from east fish bite least" thing; I would like to know if you guys have some experience on this. Also, do you hit spots that are warmer / colder this time of year, i.e. north banks, sunny flats, or shady coves? I'm taking it easy today, working on my camping trailer, & getting ready to camp soon. I thought I would post this to get some thoughts for unfamiliar waters. Also, any advice when surface water temps are 45,50,60? Thanks.
