Default Minnow Critters SO Deadly/They should be OUTLAWED!!!/Need Your Input

Guys myself and Jerry have been fishing with Critter Stingers the last few months. We have both been really reluctant about letting the secret out. But if you want to save yourself from losing short strikers or need an edge in tournament fishing, This is it. I have field tested the critter stingers and let me tell you they work and have saved me several fish that I would not have landed if not for the Critter Stinger. I promise you the critter stinger will save you some fish.

Jerry is thinking about about producing a critter stinger where the stinger line is tied to the eye of the critter hook and the critter wrapping will secure the line down the shaft of the hook to a small treble hook purfectly in line with the main hook. One of those treble hooks is stuck in the top and back towards the minnow tail leaving the other two hooks exposed for quick hook ups.

Guys I have field tested this bait myself and I can tell you they really work and has saved me many I would have lost in Tourney's or fun fishing.

Of course they are going to be a little more costly but trust me these are one of the most deadly spider rigging baits out there with alive minnow.

Jerry/Meatgetter Jigs would like your inputs on this bait and we both would like to know your inputs...Would you consider ordering Critter Stingers and adding them to your spider rigging arsenal. The pics below show you how they would look and how to rig up on a minnow. Guys I can't tell you how effective these are. I have fished them along regular single hook baits and they have out-fished them time and time again. Let us know what you think. See pics below.

Too bad they are illegal in a lot of tourneys, we been using something similar and it works well.

If they are tied in that makes it part of the original bait therefore it makes it a illegal bait in tournaments like a crankbait! !!

Keep in mind that CM tourney rules would consider this two baits because of the "line" separating two hooks. By using just one critter stinger you should be good in most tourneys. If you use a tandem rig with this you would be breaking most Tourney trail rules because the tandem bait would be considered a third hook, bait, or lure in the water...JMO.

The best way to ad-void conflict if go to the tourney directors and ask..rules on stingers and trailer hooks before fishing. LOL Most times I just fish 8 rods with just one bait anyways. But check your trails rules...

Not in Crappie Masters, has to be made as part of the bait no line attaching it. And as stated above it is also considered 2 baits which comes into play on the COE lakes here.
Jerry, I am not knocking it but just pointing it out, I do something very similar just not in the Crappie Master tourneys because of their stringer rule. Two years ago it was NO stringer allowed and when one of the sponsors came up with a stinger built on the bait it suddenly became ok as long as it was not attached with a line, money talks.

Yes I think your right Jerry If it is part or the original bait and tied at the factory like that... it would be legal.

I you went and bought a off the shelf stinger and added it to a critter and tandem rigged that would be illegal.

so its tied in the bait with the hair and not just tied to the eye of the hook?? Cool, prolly be legal on COE to use with a double rig and would need clarification in the CM, I remember Mike explaining the stringer rule in the spring and he said the line would make it illegal for the tourney but with it being tied that way it may be ok. Be interesting to know the answer to that one.
