Wild ride!!!!!!!

I took a old friend on a canoe trip for Bass today. We caught Smallmouth , Spotted , and Large Mouth Bass. Also caught a couple whisker fish , can't seem to get away from them. He even hung a Crappie on a 4'' tube bait.
The river was high which is not normal for mid August. Water high and dingy sure slowed the bite. We kept him a good mess of fish and released lots more. Seldom keep the Smallmouths but hooked one too deep and released the rest.
Got kinda wild with swift flow and trees over the shoal on spots. Wound up hanging up on a tree and swamping the canoe! Lucky my camera was water proof , phone and wallet in a zip lock bag.
He was not so lucky. We stopped half way down and cleaned a few. Released the rest except for the biggest one I caught towards the end.
