Two Lakes and Two Species of Fish on Sunday

I got to hit the lake at daylight with my fishing buddy Shawn Sunday. It was already hot before we even got the boat unloaded but heck we were fishing. We only had to 10:00 before we had to leave for other obligations but we managed 30 decent crappie. After getting some things done around the house I decided to take Pops and my best little buddy fishing for some big bluegill. On the way to the lake we drove through a complete gully washer and dodge a big storm right before we launched. We had the lake to ourselves with some nice cooler temps. The bite was pretty slow but we did manage 22 bluegill with little buddy getting so excited when they came in the boat. He was eager to take them off the hook and place in the live well. At the end of the day Pops and Carter had a excellent time. Thanks for looking at my post. Tight lines. [
