Sunday Afternoon Grind 8-3-14

I was able to hit the water Sunday afternoon for some crappie action. The bite was really slow and they seem to prefer live bait over anything else. My brother-in-law and I managed to catch one limit before the 9:00 hour set us home. The fish were caught on slow retrieve bumping minnow thru brush piles. It sure was a great evening to enjoy some of God's creations.
And as usual my son was at the door waiting to see and hold the crappie. Here he is with a big grin on his face.
