    Default White Oak Lake 7-8-14

Slow, but caught some good fish. All on jigs. I took my dad and one of my good friends. Had a good time and that's what matters to me.

Here's my dad with a nice yellow green crappie.

Here's my dad with another good crappie. My friend, Perry Richard netted that one for him.

Perry hooked a big one....turned out to be this busterd.

Here's Perry & me back at home with 4 of the better size crappie.

Somebody's gonna be eating fish tomorrow! GTT

Thought it was catch and release there after the drawdown? Or is that over? I go there rarely, but some, when at deer camp.

This is me a few years ago. Yeah, I was bass fishing (hanging head in shame)........ I love those plastic worms.

Lower White Oak was drained DRY and is just now refilling and has been restocked. You CAN fish on the lower end, but you can only keep bluegills and cats. Upper White Oak was not drained and that's where I grew up fishing back in the 80's staying at my Uncle's cabin. I know it very well and usually can scratch up a mess of fish there. I have 15 spots where I have brush piles out and if they're not in one of those, it's time to go back home. GTT

You are correct, he is a very nice guy and would do anything to help someone. I have been teaching at Harmony Grove for the past 18 years, how old is your daughter? My dad taught there to from 1985-2000. GTT
