Making the final push for Central Arkansas Crappie Assoiations Anglers of the Year Award. My self and Greg have cast-ed ultra light rigs to the deep winter brush patterns of Lake Maumelle, vertical jigged the cypress trees of Lake Conway, long-lined through the timber filled depths and pitched brushy banks of Greer's Ferry, spider rigged the channels and brush piles of Dardanelle, Overcup, and soon to be Lake Nimrod added to this list. We have protected our lead in the points race all season against some really good fisherman and now take a 8 pound/point lead into the final regular Tourney of the season held at Lake Nimrod next month. We have faced all kinds of weather conditions, we have made good choices and some bad choices, but with the good lords help we have been able to be one of the most consistent and versatile teams in Arkansas. We may not beat ya... but don't mess up because I promise ya more times than not we will be right on your tail. If your a Consistent and Versatile fisherman... You have a chance to win and catch crappie on any body of water no matter where they swim.
Guys next month is the final tourney for the CACA this season at Lake Nimrod. The CACA is a great state tourney trail and needs your support. I know there are some really good fisherman on here, so come on out next month and fish with us. Its only 60 dollars per boat. I am asking all our Ar Crappie.com family to show up and fish with us and lets make the last CACA tourney A great one to be remembered.
I know you can reach down in those pockets and come on out and have a great AR Crappie.com/CACA tourney together. I'll bet you all spent twice the money at crappie camp so this should be a walk in the park. Come out and fish with us next month at Lake Nimrod and show your support. If you can't fish then show up for the weigh ins and have some fellowship with other fisherman.
Last but not least..."Dont be skeered...we won't beat ya too badly", and who know's you just might be able to say "Hey"? We beat the "CACA Angler's of the Year winners".
HAHA!!! Now If all my braggin dont make ya mad enuff to come out and fish with us, I dont know what else to say. Lets' have a Great Tourney and Good Luck to all who come and fish with us. See 'ya at Lake Nimrod next Month.

Thanks for the good post. I will try and fish my first tournament at Nimrod.
When and if yall would expand to some other lakes besides the ones that yall can fish every day it would grow, there is a lot of fishermen all over the state that would like to fish some tournaments but like I said the only places yall want to fish is in yall backyard! !!! Sounds like someone up there is scared! !!!

Sounds like everybody had a chance to come to our meeting in fall and vote on lakes also. I would know what I was talking about before I started talking on a public site. And it's CENTRAL ARKANSAS CRAPPIE ASSOCIATION

Well give us some input what lakes you would like to see us come to. Not in MS tho... this is Arkansas. I see many Central AR teams come down and fish those MS lakes Tourneys every year. I can Name the teams for ya... if you like. (Don't see many SEA teams coming up here to fish with us). Seems like they all rather fish MS lakes than fish their own state's trail. I have made several trips Down there to fish your waters in Tourneys. Our lakes are spread out and I am sure we could bring one down closer to your area next year as long as it is in ARkansas. Isn't it about time you-all return the favor. We ain't skeered.

If we were scared would we be coming down around a lot of y'all's lakes fishing crappie masters!!!! Sorry most of us don't have the money or the time to travel all over the state every month for a tourney and have a place set up for register and weigh in but like was said if you want to come to the meeting and nominate a lake and find an area for the other stuff we will be more than happy to come fish against y'all !!!!

Yep lots of us central AR guys come down that way. It's about time they return the favor. I dont want to get into this where your lake is or where my lake is, but the fact is the lakes we fish are spread out and not in our back yards and I bet they are not much of a further drive than those MS lakes for most of the teams in Arkansas. I would still travel to fish a Lake in SEA or where ever if it was in Arkansas. Also the fact is most of AR better lakes are in the Central west central part of the state. Pick your poison in Ark and Me and Greg will come fish it.
