Bull Shoals Lake Nursery Pond

We've had several anglers asking about the Bull Shoals Lake Nursery Pond located in the West Sugarloaf Arm of the lake. We currently have crappie in there. We stocked 200 broodstock crappie in the pond in March. We have been checking the size of the fingerlings over the past two months. It appears there was an excellent spawn in the pond and the young crappie look great. They are ranging in size from 1 3/4' to 3" as of 6/16. We should be releasing the pond in the fall.
