Crossing one off of my bucket list

Headed to Sioux lookout Ontario Saturday for 2 weeks of fishing. It's been on my bucket list for a long time and I'm finally going. I'm meeting my mothers new husband there. This will make 61 years straight of going up there for him, so I think I'll have a pretty good guide. We will be staying on lake Vermillion but will be fishing several lakes in the area. I'm really looking forward to fighting some big small mouth , walleye, and northern's

Love trips like that ... My trip to the Kenai River in Alaska was a outdoor highlight of my life. I was there in July and and the daylight part of the day was about 20 hrs .... I didn't know when to quit!!! Wore myself completely out!!

I have gone fishing in Ontario twice. Both times were at Nestor Falls on Lake Kishkutina. We caught smallmouth bass nearly every cast and then there was the occasional muskie. I caught one almost 3 feet long once. Took pics, then let that toothy torpedo go back in the lake. They're spooky looking to me. Had a blast! Good luck to you. GTT

Outstanding. I'm jealous.

I went twice and fished with an Edmonton buddy (since passed on) for Walleye at Calling Lake and Lesser Slave Lake. Had a literal ball. Why we haven't invaded Canada and made them US States is beyond me. Top notch folks and world class land and water.
