    Default A Big D Limit!!!

Went to Dardanelle yesterday fished from noon till 4. The bite was so good I could only keep up with 6 poles. At one time I had two crappie and a 2 pound blue on. A few times I would have two fish on and see another pole getting a bite It was an exciting day to say the least. They were still 8 to 10' deep but not as scattered as last weekend in 12 to 15 fow. Double minnow rig worked best.

You are Hot !!!! Keep it going .... I use the double minnow rig a lot to and it seems to be the best thing to put fish in the boat. What size weight are you using on your double minnow setup?

I tie on a 2 way swivel leaven a 8" tag line to tie my top hook on go down 15"s loop line 4 times through 1/2 oz water gremlin egg sinker leaving 12" tail to tie on bottom hook. If the wind picks up are they just want it moving faster I will put on an earless slip shot above the egg sinker of whatever size needed to keep it to the right depth.

Interesting setup, ive never seen that one. Do you catch many fish on the top hook? I use a 4" top loop on my rigs.

This past couple of weekend's about one to two ratio top to bottom. Usually the top hooks an indicator that you need to shallow up a little but that hasn't been the case here lately. I did notice most of the bigger fish were caught on the bottom hook!
