seems to be a little deep for 1/16 oz at 1 mph , my guess would be 1/16 would run about 4-5 foot deep at 1mph, ;2cents !!!

You are pretty close.... generally try and hold .5MPH (I like doughnuts,,,,just look at my waistline:Rofl)

I have a little different method than Creek's. My nerves will only take four poles at a time. I use my shortest ones up front with an egg sinker before a 3' leader. Because....I kept getting them tangled in the big motor prop. I only let out about 20' of line on these. The two rear ones, I cast out as far as I can. Makes it interesting. Sometimes I only catch fish on the front ones. DP
