Pulled a hole just below the eye in my 1914, 1436 monark back in the day. It was all good until we put about 200 decoys in it with full bricks for weights. We came close to sinking that day. Got it welded up soon after that.

I don't know if they still use a water driven speedometer. But I did have one that sprung a leak under the dash. took forever to figure that one out.
