Default Minn Kota vs. Motor Guide

For WIRELESS REMOTE type new TM, about 70-75 lb thrust, why is Motor Guide so much cheaper?

I have, and see mostly, Minn Kota. Used to be other way.

Comments on why one is/isn't better than the other??

    Thanks.

Motor Guide got behind on the wireless remote back several year ago and are trying to catch up now. If you are running Humminbird electronic I would go with Minn Kota if running Lowrance I would try the new Motor Guide so they could be linked together.

I bought the Ilink Minn Kota to put on my Ranger and for trolling it is the cats meow.

The XI5 MG is supposed to be comparable to the Terrova, but the first generation is experiencing some problems. A new interface with Lowrance electronics is supposed to be out this summer. I'm in wait and see mode, since Ido have Lowrance electronics.
