Shirey Bay Report

We got on the water at 6:30 and fished till 11 and did not put one keeper crappie in the boat! Water looked great but it still very high. Couldn't tell for sure but on one end (right of launch) it seemed like there was a decent current, so my excuse is that the bay is dropping too fast :big grin

We did catch a few very small, I mean very small crappie, a few bream but no good ones, 3ft long gar and about a 5 lb drum. There were millions of mosquitoes on us all morning bc there was almost no wind.

Not my best trip to Shirey and not how I wanted to end my year fishing in AR, but It was good to be there with my dad.
