''Love them Tiggers''
I agree that Arkansas beat themselves to a certain extent. Nutt blew one (No pun intended) the officials also blew one. On fourth and three, Houston didnt put the ball in the hands of his biggest playmaker on the formation that worked for mostly the whole game when they used it. That cost them points I think. Also on the touchdown LSU got on the interception, they were offsides on the snap and the hogs should have gotten the ball back, it wasnt called then, but just a couple series later when the hogs jumped, it was called. The announcers have said for two straight weeks that LSU is as good as O.State and Michigan and that if Ohio state played the same schedule as LSU on the road that they would not be undefeated. They also said perhaps due to some slips in officiating in LSU's 2 losses that they would be undefeated. I am so dissapointed in the officiating this year. They even have instant replay and have blown more calls this year than it seems like they ever did. I think since they shortened the game with the clock that they should let the coaches call a review whenver they want and not charge them a challenge. I just dont think Florida has what it takes to win the rest of their games. I believe two of the top five teams in the country just battled it out today.

I agree totally with you. SEC is by far the toughest conference in the Nation. LSU played an outstanding ballgame and I do not want to take anything away from that. Good job LSU. There you go, I said it. (GAG, this crow tastes AWFUL!)
I agree with you that the officiating has been terrible this year. I didn't see where LSU was off sides but I am not saying that they couldn't have been.
I know we all get some calls we shouldn't but we also get some calls we should.
I don't mind if you have "bad" officiating on both sides but when it is one sided it, that is when they should do some investigating on the officials.
I personally didn't see where they did a terrible job today, all in all I thought they did a decent job. This is just my opinion so don't get to bent out of shape, I am sure if the Razorbacks would have won, you would not have a problem with the officiating.
I agree completely with you that on the 4th and 3 play when they didn't put the ball in McFadden's hands that was a HUGE mistake on the Coaches.
LSU has some of the fastest guys in college football and when McFadden got lose, our guys weren't within 5 yards of the guy! Man that guy can fly! Jones aint bad either!
LSU has not given up a 100 yard rusher this year and Your guys had 2 - 100 yard rushers! THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!
All in All, I don't think Arkansas has anything to be ashamed of! They did a great job and just made some bad coaching decision or the outcome would have been different, IMO.
These were definetely 2 of the best 5 teams in the nation! If Ohio State or Michigan would have had EITHER LSU or Arkansas's schedule they would NOT be undefeated right now!
Arkansas good luck in the SEC championship! If LSU can't have it, I just assume the Razorback take Flordia apart!
Hey shadow. I wont get bent out of shape over the officiating in that game, I agree with you that they did a good job. The only thing that bothers me is it doesnt matter how good a job you do if you miss a call that changes the outcome of a game, it hurts. You just shouldnt miss an offsides with an official looking right down the line. The play happened so fast that even the announcers didnt catch it, thats what caught my attention because I saw it right away and wondered why they were not blowing the play dead and just figured they were giving the hogs a free play, then it was intercepted. It doesnt matter to me because I am a Tide fan and we have many problems of our own right now. I do however think alot of the officiating blunders this year have been one sided, not this game however. I think Texas A&M benefitted today from poor officiating against Texas and I could care less about that one. I do think though that the guy that hit the Texas quarterback late, should sit out the rest of the season. I know they are kids and they wanna play and hit, but you just dont do that.
I promise you, a football game will NEVER get me bent out of shape. Bad officiating or not. It is what it is..a game. There are WAY more important things in life.. like catching crappie.
All the smack we (especially me and Gooch) have been talking this last week and after the game we can talk about it like grownups! I know of a bunch of people that would act like a bunch of kids that just got their favorite toy taken away after a game like that!
I would like to thank ALL OF YOU ARKIES for being such good sportsman, that is hard to find these days!:D
PS. Yall don't get to mad about the post I made to Gooch, you know I had to talk a little smack b/c my team won (All in good fun!) And yes it was true! I couldn't make that stuff up!
Can't wait to see Gooch in that LSU gear! Yall be sure to rub that in good!
Hey, as long as Texas loses, life is great! Other than the Razorbacks, my favorite college team is "whoever is playing against the longhorns". (NFL, no favorite team except whoever is playing against the cowgirls). Its not that I am a Texas hater, more of a Texas "disliker" :D
You got my vote there!!!!!!! Neve could stand them cowboys! Only thing that makes watching them bearable is getting to see their cheerleaders!:DQuote:
