first time out with 8 poles!

Me and the wife went to Dardanelle yesterday to try out the new 14' Ozark pro series rods I got from Conway and the extreme v holders I ordered from Hy tek. Really like the adjustable of the holder's but definitely need the knobs. Thanks to Don for the great advice he really knows his stuff. It's was fun day of learning and catching fish. Caught most of them in 10 to 15 fow 8 to 10" deep with minnows and Lake Fork babe shad bl/chart and a pink 1/8oz Rockport Rattler tip with minnows. I love the rods the tips are really sensitive you can see the lightest bite and plenty of backbone. I need to make a few tweaks to my setup but can't wait to do it again!
