    Default East Arkansas Fishing Reports

I was just asked by the Game and Fish to take fishing reports from the East Arkansas area so they can post them on a weekly basis.

They wanted info on all species of game fish, and they were interested in Bear Creek, Storm Creek, Horseshoe Lake in Hughes, Wappanoca, and the River oxbows like Midway, Dacus, and Mound City.

If you guys fish these lakes, please help me to help the Game and Fish by PMing me any info you can share on these areas. Thanks for the help in advance. If you know of any bait shops or boat ramps that might help in this area, please send me their phone numbers. Thx again.

Wild bill, I was asked here at the bluff too but decided it was against better judgement to do so. Too many folks already looking for a report. May have noticed bunch of the old timers quit posting as much as the crowds flog em. Good luck and I am sure some will help ya out.

I can get the info locally, but thought some might help. I see lots of fishermen and women in my profession. Lol

For me, the fish have become reclusive. They must only feed when they don't hear trolling motors buzzing around. Hehehe

When Mr Clyde died, there were no reports for this part of the state. I miss the game & fish reports for this area. I don't fish Horseshoe a lot but I like to know what's going on. I'm glad you took on the task . As far as the oxbows goes , I wouldn't spend a lot of time on them. I think the Asian Carp are in control of all of them. The only fish that might benefit from them is the Alligator Gar.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
