    I caught this bass on Greers Friday. Notice the darker splotches on it? What gives it that coloration?

    I have caught them with big black spot on back several times. My guess is just abnormal pigment but lets hear from the fisheries experts.

    Birth marks, Ive notice that bass in wood filled lakes seem to have them more often.

    greers putting out some unique fish, seen one caught in the tourney that was bright yellow like a sunfish

    Yep, just dark pigment. We see it fairly regularly on some lake. Greers is one of them.
