    Default Lake Barnett 4-11-14

Arrived at the lake at 7:45 or so and there was already 20 trucks and trailers there. I mainly wanted to fish for green carp but was planning on doing so crappie fishing if I saw others catch any. After two hours and only catching one tiny bass on a minnow and only seeing one other boat catch a single fish I thought it was time to leave. I just installed my new 859 CI HD DI and was very impressed with the down imaging. Saw a lot of good structure and even saw a few fish on the sonar. Maybe the lake has too, I say too, much pressure. One of the locals said it was a hard lake to fish...go figure. Willy Four Banger was with me and I think he brought me bad, bad luck.

It is a tough lake. It looks very fishy though.

Those whites will eat, but I had rather have those greens you talked about
