I hope to be back out after work this week. Any one ever have good luck at greers ferry?

Its closest lake to my house. I've been trying to learn few things about as well. Figuring boat lane been fun also. Made mistake of being up at damn and fishing past dark. I was fine, but wife was along and not happy, so you know saying. Mom not happy, your not. Water level/flow seems to mess up this lake from my abilities to catch fish. Last spring/summer there was a bald eagle that fished the middle section of lake, but haven't seen this year yet.

Lots of information on this board about GreersI've learned a lot. Maybe one day I can start catching few more fish.
I got started on trolling last year on Greers. Read in the Mississippi forums too, tons of information there. But be warned it can get expensive fast.

Yes that bald eagle is still there we saw him last weekend :)

Yes...........been catching them early in 25'-30' around pole timber using an 1/8 jig head. Throw out give a 10-15 count and then very slowly reel in.......then the buck brush as the day warms.....about anything chartreuse or yellow.
