Motor drive is too slow in the thick stuff. If you troll a bunch, the terrova is all good.

So there is a delay from the time you hit the go right button and then you hit the stump?

I guess you having a $1,500.00 plus motor laying around somewhere kinda says it all.

Nah. I love the Terrova. Needed to change to an 80 for the larger boat. I may end up putting the 55 back on the smaller boat. I figured someone else would comment on the Terrova. They are a trollers dream come true, but in the thick stuff, I prefer a cable steer.

If you are a troller I would go with a terrova for sure Humminbird for electronics.

I'm about 50/50. I have a six year old 797 si and figured on upgrading it with the new motor.

If you are a troller its terrova hands down. If you are back in the trees a lot or bass fish I would say a maxxum or fortrexx depending on how deep your pockets are
