    Default Lake Conway

Well I've been fishing lake conway a few years now. I'm from Southern California and never touched a pole till I moved here. I've taught myself everything I know so far. Besides what I've learned on here. My question is I've been out 6 times the last two weeks on Conway and zero crappie! I've caught break and bass but the slabs don't like me. I'm wondering if someone has an open seat or will let me follow them around for a day in my boat and learn a little bit?

I ain't never off or I would volunteer. I think I would be single poling the outside of the pads right now for crappie. But, my favorite thing to do this time of year is to cast micro jigs about a foot under a weighted cork in the flats out from Dano's boat ramp. The redears should be moving in there soon along with a few crappie. DP

Well I'll be out in gold creek on a small one man with a arkansas wind breaker on in the morning. If any of you see me stop and say hi point me in the right direction.

Terrance cover as many live cypress as you can, clusters are best and stay out of the thick jungles of trees. You should find a few. Use midsouth tubes and 1/16 or 1/8th oz heads. Try tipping with a minnow. Good Luck.

I would listen to Russ (I always do). He knows what he is talking about.
