Got in a similar situation on lake Maumelle in a 14' flat bottom me & Karla were on the north side back in a cove brim fishing. I knew the wind was blowing had no idea how bad it was getting until we came out of the cove. It was right at dark the wind was out of the south at 20 and all we could see were white caps and we had to head straight into it. I told Karla to put her life jacket on and hold on to the seat cushion about half way across I was seriously doubting my decision to try it. My wife was scared to death I tried not to let her know it but I was to. When we got back to the bank Karla told me I'm never getting in a boat with you again and at the time she meant it! Glad to hear you made it safely nice mess of fish too!

Glad you and Titan made it in safely. Funny how a dog will want to bite at and lick the fish you catch. My lab does the same thing! Congrats on the beautiful fish!!
