Default 2-pound crappie or 12-point buck

I know some of you boys are either in the deer woods or headed that way. I know it's a hard decision, but you're just going to have to bite the bullet (sorry for the pun) and choose.

Personally, I chose crappie because the odds are better and I don't have to wear orange to keep other anglers from hooking me.

That's funny cause I'm an avid hunter. But I'm wanting to catch some crappie more than hunt. Nimrod being a flood control lake is messed up right now. Great catch there. Oh well might as well get started as the works began. I have a deer and a hog to process.

I deer hunted for many years, I do love hearing dogs run. I quit hunting. Handsdown crappie fishing is best. I'm in my 13th year of fishing.

I used to love to deer hunt but things have changed for me i would whole lot rather catch a bunch of crappie than kill all the deer in the woods.

I love to crappie fish better than deer hunting, HOWEVER, my family had rather deer hunt than sleep. (Wife included). It's hard for me not to deer hunt so I can spend time with them, but even while sitting on the stand, deer in crosshairs, my mind is busy pulling a hook out of a papermouth.

    Darryl,

Gimmie to the end of the season and I will do some swappin' with ya!
