Quit fishing to do laundry

After a morning of turkey hunting, I decided to stop at Reelfoot and check on the crappie. Conway has spoiled me, so when I got to Reelfoot, I went straight to the cypress trees hoping to find a few. After 7 or 8 trees, I found a couple...



I reached for that limb and was just a couple inches from grabbing it when I saw them. After I got the picture I went home and washed my clothes. They got to stinking something fierce.

Be careful out there guys. It is the time of year for ole no shoulder to get out and sun a little.

which is worse a limb full of rattelheadedcoppermoxins or a big ole nest red wasp? i dont much care for either! !!!!!

I haven't grabbed one of those rattleheadedcoppermoxins but I have one of those dinner plate size red wasp nest that Conway has in the cypress. They get my vote for the worst.

I dont know man. I got bite by a cotton mouth while i was trying to move a log blocking the entrance to some bar pits. I turned black all the way up to my elbow. Swole up to my shoulder and three days in the hospital. My hand is still numb to this day. They aint no fun!

Once I saw the snake, I was fine. That initial shock was tough. I eased right back up there and took his picture with my phone.
I don't think he liked me. He kept sticking his tongue out at me!
