    Default Beaver Lake Tips

Hey guys me and a buddy are heading up to Beaver Lake to fish Friday and Saturday. I have never crappie fished that lake and was hoping ya'll might be able to give us a few pointers to get us off on the right foot. We will be on the west side of the lake. Any info including current reports would be awesome!

    Thanks!

your going to want to get some colors tied on, we got a couple inches of rain here sat-sun, water is up 18 inches or so, and got pretty muddy from P-creek south. River is still pretty turbid yesterday, some fish coming from creeks in and around Mont-n e and Horshoe bend. Before rain, fish have moved to horizontal wood off of bluff ends in the creeks, best bite on black/chart or red/chart shinee hinee, anywhere from 2 to 6 feet deep, but over 18 to 30 feet of water. The sun is you friend right now.
    hope that helps

start off vertical jigging, fish will move up the the water column as sun gets up, then its bobber time. don't be afraid to fish shallower than you are.

I agree with shinee. The waster is chocolate milk in War Eagle and south of Hickory Creek to 412.

Does anyone ever fish brushpiles there? Or is there not enough of them to mention trying it?
    Thanks!
