Went to piney yesterday with my dad. We just keep hoping that one day will be the day they turn on. Yesterday wasn't it only caught two slabs. Hopefully, they will turn on soon. Water temp was 45 and fairly calm wind. It was a nice day on the water and had a great time with dad just need the fish to cooperate. I have never seen the amount of shad that I did out there. Literally lined them all day, will sure make you think a bite is near. The two we caught were fatties, man when they turn on there will be some butterballs to be had!

All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

It's slower everywhere I been last couple days. I think they are in a transition and when it settles down with water temps in the 60's watch out!
