Default Bringing March In Like a Lion/3-1-14

Well I ended Feb with a nice Limit and Started March with my best Limit of the year. I had a limit by 11:30 AM and culled the rest of the day. By my best count I had caught 72 fish. It was a Great!!! bite in the pool. The fish are being forced deep by the Pelicans and they are stacking up in the open water brush piles. D-10 it was a pleasure fishing along side of you.

Crappie pro, you are the man! I fished yesterday for several hours and only managed to hang one big female on Millwood. I'm still new at it. How long have you been fishing? Congrats!

Let me rephrase the question. Russ, how long you been catching? Love the last picture.

In response to 25/06 question? How long have I been fishing?

I caught my first crappie at about five years old about a 10 incher. I can still see those old balsa clip on standup bobbers sliding off to the side and disappearing into the depths. I still hear my Dad's voice saying "there he goes", "reel up your slack"...NOW YANK SON!!! That's a good one, I am sure there was a smile on my face. I have been hooked since that time in 1966.

Translation= "I been wearing those crappie out since I was five, but I thought it facetious to call myself Crappie Pro at that age".
