Default Catching Slabbers in the cove

Well I went to the cove at conway this afternoon and boy was it fun. I had 13 in the live at dark all slabbers. When the sleet started falling they started thumping. I have got the two largest wrapped in a towel to take to the taxidermist. Largest, picture in this post 3.52 Next to largest 3.12 pounds. Could have easily limited out on smaller crappie in the tops, but that is not where the big ones where. Would someone that knows how please rotate this picture Thanks

Nice Catch! I'm headed to Conway in the morning. The cove? Is that different than the pool everyone refers too?

You got that right Jack! I can remove the otoliths at the taxidermist without damaging the fish. I would really like to age these fish.
