I have a couple mr crappie rods that i really like. They come with that mr crappie neon line. To me it would look like a fish could see it from a mile away. Whats yalls take on it?

Good to know. One spool is good. The other one has so much twist its time to change. Thinkin the camo
I love the hi-viz line. It's alot easier to see, which helps on the light bite days, and I catch just as many fish as I do on the other stuff. (which ain't alot) Somebody on here done a strength test a year or two ago, and if I remember correct, the MR. Crappie line was the strongest.
Some folks say it does'nt matter but may depend water color and type of fishing. I prefer clear line myself. When using big jigs I put a small barrel swievel about 18'' above my hook inline and it helps on the spinning reels to keep down twist.
A certain Pro told me it was a no no on Lake Conway. I tend to listen to him.![]()

I fish it on all my rods. When I fish on conway and some other lakes I use 2' of clear at the end of my Hi-viz.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
