i dont use it but i mostly vertical jig and i think it can spook fish in clearer water, looks like it a matter of opinion , my confidence is in clear fluorocarbon , i use " vicious"

I still use Berkley Solar which is a fluorescent green. I use it for all occasions from muddy to clear water. Once in a while when the bite is light or off a little, I will switch to a clear just to make me feel better

Picked up some fluero today. Always loved it for bass. High resistance to abrasion and u can usually get away with a smaller pound test. Strong stuff. Gonna rig my poles with it...or maybe just put on leaders.

I like the high vis line for a little different reason. I don't see quite as well as I used to, especially up close. I got new ultra light and was spooling it with 4# flouro. I have a heck of a time seeing that wispy little stuff and much prefer something I can see. I run Stren gold or neon green Berkley Big Game on my trolling rods, otherwise I'd have no idea where the lines go out the back of the boat.

X2 for Stren Gold # 6 for spider rigging, and casting jigs.
In clear water I also catch Bass, and Walleye on it all the time.

    Be safe all!
