Default Mr. CrappieŽ Solo Jiggin' Reel

Has anyone used these? If so what are you thoughts? Would they be alright for shallow slow trolling or just for jigging? Thanks in advance.

I really like mine also. I recommend only using when you are vertically jigging the length of your rod or less. They are not really made for cranking in fish. When I plan to fish deeper, I just put my spinning reels back on.

I have two of these. I love the idea of them, but have had issues with the drag and the reel casing spinning off while reeling fish in. Could just be operator error not sure. I have heard that there was an early model that had issues and a newer model has since been released, I may have the early model. Anyone else know if there are two models and have had these same issues?
