Hard to get out there with my job, but when I do I usually do well. The only problem is now the lake is down everyone sees everything. If you do well in one spot one day you can believe there will be someone there before you get there the next day. Safest with Conway right now is Medium minows 2-4 feet down depending on the channel around submerged stumps if your bank fishing. If your in a boat go with the jigs. Black and Chart the only color I use on Conway. Everyonce in a while ill pull out a Red and Chart. Never had any luck on the pink minnows.
How is going to affect the fishing after the lake fills back up? Looks like peolpe up there are pullin all the fish out. Are the Game and Fish gonna restock?
My BIL just called me from Adams landing, water is up, dozens of boats launching there this morning, and he had his limit already.
I'm leaving work NOW
