We left Batesville at 5:30pm to go see our daughter and grandkids Friday night and a trip that normally takes about 4 1/2 hours, took 12 this time. Somebody got the forecast wrong Friday night, I don't know if was me or them but I sure wouldn't have gone had I had any idea what was in store for us. We hit ice on I30 around Little Rock, which surprised me, So I thought we should drive out of it soon cause we were going south and I didn't recall any mention of snow and ice south of Little Rock being forecast. WRONG! Solid ice all the way to Hope. Now I've got to fix the seat in the Pathfinder cause my butt was so drawn up I think I tore a hole in it. Driving on ice is no place you want to be, let alone pulling a bass boat. Anyway I got there just in time to go fishing, once I cleared snow off of my seats.
