Welcome aboard. Lots of great people here. Can't offer you any advice that hasn't been posted. Still learning this stuff up. But as long as lines wet, its better than any day at work.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. Lake Catherine ramp is 3 miles from the house. It sure is hard going over their fishing 5 or 6 hours when I know I can drive 1.5 hours and catch fish, but if I don't try to learn it I will always be driving 1.5 hours to fish. Same for Hamilton and Degray. It looks like it might be time to upgrade some electronics and get serious.
