    Default Tough Day

Finally had a day off when the temperature was above 30 and the winds less than 30. Fishing was good but the catching was tough. Only caught 3 but they were all good fish. The best thing from the day was the scenery. I went up Middle Fork above the island and found some ice. The lake was frozen from bank to bank above the second power line.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1392000229.937956.jpg

Man that's some nice scenery! I went to Choctaw a couple of weeks ago and the fish were stacked in there up the river a little ways but I only got one to bite. Last year about this time we caught em good just out from the private boat launch on the right just past the second set of power lines in Middle Fork.

Nice pictures and thanks for sharing. Three fish is way better than a goose egg.

The third picture is where you are referring to. Its hard to tell but if you loo close you can see the ice from bank to bank.

I don't think I've ever seen it that still. It's usually white capping when I'm in there!
